Parent and Family Programs Events
University of Oregon Parent and Family Programs plans several large events on campus throughout the year to provide opportunities to visit your student and connect to the Duck community. Our annual events include:
Student Orientation Programs offers a comprehensive IntroDUCKtion Parent Program during each of the two-day IntroDUCKtion sessions. Parents of first-year students are strongly encouraged to attend. The IntroDUCKtion Parent Program is designed to help family members understand the ins and outs of navigating a large, public research university and the ways parents and the university can be partner to ensure student success. Week of Welcome
Week of Welcome is a way to gear up for the new school year and welcome all new students. Orientation hosts a number of activities and programs for students before classes begin to become familiar with the university's resources, IntroDUCKtion Duck Store Night, meet new people, and make new friends.

Parents' Day Off is an event for first-year parents to get to know Eugene and the surrounding area while participating in fun activities.The day after move-in day is a very important day for students to connected with the campus and their new support system.
Parent and Family Weekends
November 6-8, 2015
During Homecoming each fall, Parent and Family Programs hosts the annual Fall Family Weekend. This is a great opportunity to visit your student while also enjoying the fun activities across campus including a parade, pep rally, parent leadership meetings, tailgate, and the football game at Autzen Stadium.
The annual Winter Family Weekend is a great excuse to visit your student during the long and often rainy Eugene winter.
May 1-3, 2015
Spring Family Weekend is usually paired with the Spring Football game and following a baseball game. Check back for more information.
