AlcoholEdu (or Research Study) & Haven
As part of UO’s comprehensive approach to alcohol education and sexual violence prevention, it is REQUIRED that all new incoming students complete two online programs: AlcoholEdu and Haven. A student’s ability to learn is enhanced when they are a member of a safe and healthy community. Being impacted by behaviors of students who misuse and abuse alcohol or are involved in some form of sexual misconduct can all be significant barriers to academic success. Our goal is to reduce the negative consequences of alcohol misuse and abuse on campus as well as the incidents of unwanted sexual behavior.
The 2016 Spring term students have a unique opportunity to either complete the standard AlcoholEdu online alcohol prevention program OR participate in a research study (earning up to $60) where you will be in one of three programs designed to reduce alcohol misuse (two brief groups or AlcoholEdu). All students will still be required to complete Haven to prevent a registration HOLD on their account.
Select one of the following alcohol prevention programs to meet your UO requirement :
As part of UO’s commitment and comprehensive approach to alcohol education and sexual violence prevention, it is REQUIRED that all new incoming students complete Haven. PLEASE NOTE: You must also complete Haven by May 6, 2015 to prevent a registration hold on your account.
