Mission of Nontraditional Student Programs
The mission of Nontraditional Student Programs is to enhance the educational and interpersonal experiences of nontraditional students while supporting and promoting their degree attainment.
Nontraditional Student Programs promotes college access and lifelong learning through collaboration with the university community to provide services and support that address the unique needs and life experiences of nontraditional students.
You May Be A Nontraditional Student If You:
- Are over the age of 24
- Are married, divorced, partnered
- Work full-time
- Have children and/or family members to support
- Are returning to or starting college after a break
- Are changing careers
- Are a veteran of the armed forces
- Are a first-generation student
- Qualify as low income
- Have independent financial status
- Have transfer admission status
- Assume similar responsibilities
